The Croix Chordsmen love to sing four-part a cappella music and share that joy with others. We truly build and enjoy life-long friendship with the chorus family and the larger barbershop community. We have fun singing a wide range of songs that range from barbershop to gospel to pop and enjoy performing for many community organizations and also producing our own annual shows. We welcome guests and new members, knowing that they too will find enjoyment singing together in an extended family culture.

At 100 years old, Bill Kruschel remembers the day he fell in love with music at the age of 8 after finding a gem in an old farm attic. Kruschel, a World War II veteran and active member of Stillwater’s Croix Chordsmen, celebrated his birthday Tuesday with laughter, memories and song.

“I’m just so thankful that I’ve got it all together yet and can do all I do,” Kruschel said.
