BEER & A SANDWICH AWARD

The Beer & A Sandwich award was started in 2002.  The award was not to embarrass the recipient but to recognize a lapse of memory, slip of tongue or simple gaffe.  The award also takes into account the recipients ability to recover from the slip or mistake.  This award is only given if there is a worthy recipient for the year.
