Lorena Kennedy of Arkadelphia, Arkansas

Our long-time Premier Sponsor Lorena Kennedy, passed away in 2021 in her home in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Lorena lived a fruitful and productive life and has chosen to share some of her rewards with the Croix Chordsmen. We continue to benefit from her gifts to us; proceeds from the investment of the money she shared are used for music development of high school-aged youth in various activities.

Dorothea Zaiger of Hugo, Minnesota

The Chordsmen want to especially thank Dorothea Zaiger from Hugo, MN for her long- term financial sponsorship of the Chordsmen as a Gold Sponsor. Dorothea has been a resident of Hugo her entire life and has been an active member of the Hugo New Life Church-Lutheran for years. She thoroughly enjoys Barbershop Music and several years ago questioned Dennis Garner, a former Chordsmen member, about how she might support us financially. When she learned of the various levels of support, she chose to support the Chordsmen at the top Gold Sponsor level. Not able to personally attend Chordsmen shows, she purchases show videos to view our performances.

Kathleen Hall Johnson of Roberts, Wisconsin

Kathleen Johnson, the sister of Croix Chordsmen member Duane Hall, has attended Chordsmen Spring and Christmas shows for many, many years. Following her passing in August 2024, her family, Jean Johnson, Renee Gullixson and family and Brian Johnson and family have established a 2024 Gold sponsorship in her memory. The Chordsmen want to especially thank Kathleen and her family for their support and sponsorship.
