Hello Croix Chordsmen

Below is our rehearsal agenda for Tuesday.  For the next few weeks we will primarily focus on running our show songs with script.  

This week we also will enjoy listening to a couple of songs from Fanfare, a Sweet Adeline quartet, during our business break. I also included the latest version of our performance seating chart.

Location: Grace Lutheran Church, 1730 Old Hudson Rd, St Paul, MN 55106

Time:  Visitation at 10:00 AM, Service at 11:00 AM, Croix Chordsmen warm-up at 10:20 AM

Attire: Black Shoes, Tan Pants, White Shirt, Blue Blazer, Long Chorus Tie

Prelude

·  Ride The Chariot

·  Swing Low/Swing Down

·  For The Longest Time (as the family enters)

During the Service

·  Jay sings one verse of Precious Lord and then the congregation joins (including the Croix Chordsmen)

After Final Commendation (before the Benediction)

·  I’ll Fly Away

Prelude numbers will be sung from front of church.  Then then Croix Chordsmen will sit behind the rest of the congregants in sections/rows.  We will sing I’ll Fly Away from where we are seated (but standing in the pews).

This form is for Croix Chordsmen members to request a performance for a community event. Following submission of the form, the Music Team will evaluate the request, and if they feel it is appropriate, and if a director is available at that date and time, they will approve the request and pass it on to the Board for final approval, based on the request aligning with our strategic plan. If the board approves the chorus members will be polled at the next rehearsal to determine if there are enough members interested and available to participate.
